A Memorial Service for Mrs. Eula Lee Burgess of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, will be held Saturday, October 5th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Pastor Lorenzo Charles Warren, Jr., officiating. Eula Lee Burgess was born in Ailey, Georgia on April 27, 1934. She enjoyed fishing, gospel music and loved people. She worked for Singleton Seafood Company for over 32 years. For the last 16 years she was confined to the bed, but it did not define her she was still loving, carrying and had a happy spirit. She had the best sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her loving husband for 37 years, Louis Burgess; son, Roosevelt Carwell. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her granddaughter, Michelle Murray; 2 grandsons, Michael Carwell and Rashad Jackson; 11 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her; loving caregiver, Lorenzo 'Charles' Warren, Sr. and special loving friend, Kathy Hammontree. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
