Homegoing services for Mr. Eustis Carroll "Lee" of Tampa, who passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012, will be held on Saturday, June 23rd, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, with Rev. C. Nathan, officiating. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Eustis Carroll affectionately known to his family and friends as "Lee" the son of Settle Carroll, Sr. and Christine Fain Carroll, was born on December 30, 1925 in Allapulgus, GA, he ended his earthly journey on June 14, 2012. He will be greatly missed by all, but his memories will forever be present with us. Mr. Carroll attended the public schools of Gadsen County. He was a member of the United States Armed Forces. After serving his country, he found employment at Devoe Paint Company where he worked until he retired. On November 21, 1987, he was united in holy matrimony to Joyce Molton. He was a faithful and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Lee accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior and is now resting comfortably in God's loving arms. His memory will live forever in our hearts. Lee was preceded in death by his parents; Settle and Christine Fain Carroll; son, Dallas Brown; brothers, Clarence Carroll, Sr., Settle Carroll, Jr., John Carroll and Richard Carroll; sisters, Dora Shaw, Bernice Carroll and Elizabeth Carroll. He leaves a loving family behind to cherish his fond memories; wife, Joyce Molton Carroll; children, Howard Carroll (Reba), Cornell Carroll, Atlanta, GA ; step-children, Monique Murray of Atlanta, Ga., Tonya Molton, Chauncey Molton, Samuel Brown, David Brown, Corine Mobley (Roderick Murray) of Atlanta, Ga,; grandchildren, Brian Carroll, Lara (Derek) Williams;step-grandchildren, David Burgess, Jr., Eric Young II (Erica), Brittanee Chatham, Roderick (RJ) Murray, Malik Murray, Atlanta, GA, Chosen, Charity and Chasity Molton, Debora Brown, David Brown, Jr. and Cassandra Brown; brother, Willie Carroll, Tallahassee, FL; aunt, Isabelle Morsley; sisters-in-law, Mary Smith, Saundra Settles, Lula Mae Banks and Corene Banks; special devoted friends; Nathaniel Dumas, Earl White, Johnny Campbell, Angel Mendez, Cleora Browning and Tameka Thomas; and a host of other relatives and special friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 22nd, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Chapel for service at 10:45 a.m.
