Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Eva B. Jones of Tampa, who passed away, Tuesday, August 31, 2010, will be held Saturday, September 11th, 10:00 a.m., at St. John Progressive M.B. Church, 2504 Chipco Street, Rev. Bartholomew Banks, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Eva Jones was born on January 18, 1930 to the late John and Georgia Jones. Eva was a member of St. John Progressive M.B. Church and enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading a variety of books, writing poems and watching gospel shows. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Bell; sons, John Fitzgerald and Farley M. Polk; aunts, Marie Steward, Drewnathan Stewart, Rachel Harris, Bennie M. Stewart and Gertrude Stewart; uncles, Babe Jones and Henry Stewart; cousins, Betty Jean Johnson, Willie James Hart, Timothy Lester Wright and Jimmy Lee Humphrey, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Cecelia Fields and husband, Booker T.
