Obituary

Mrs. Fannie M. Dixon was born on October 23, 1932, to the late James Carswell and Mattie Mae Flanders, in Laurens County, GA. Fannie was employed by Oak Park Cleaners and Nutmeg of Tampa, FL. She attended Grace Mary until her health failed her. Fannie served in the choir and was on the Usher Board and Women's Missionary.

Fannie goes on to Glory to join her husband, Ralph Dixon, who preceded her in death the summer of 1993; along with her late sister, Cora; brother, Robert; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Walker.

She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Emory Walker, Sr., and Debora Dixon Fordom (Albert); grandchildren, Emory Walker (GiGi), Emory R. (Kamesha), Stephanie, Diekrick, Meketha Movling (Thomas), Sherronda Galloway (David), Latarsha Thrope, and Arthur Thrope; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Hughes, Deja Hughes, and Jaqeed, along with a host of other great-great-great- grandchildren; sisters, Betty Bargie, Anna Parker, Mary Sumblin, Dorothy, and Louise all of GA.; brothers, Alex, James, and Albert Carsell; very dear cousin, Bruce Simmons, and a host of nieces and nephews.
