A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Fannie Mae Moore Diggs who passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 12:30 p.m., Re-Birth M.B. Church, 1924 E. Comanche Street, Rev. Zachary Hudson, Pastor, Pastor R. Lockett, eulogist. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Fannie was born on October 15, 1939 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Exodus Moore, Sr. and Eddie Mae Solomon. She served in the Mother's Ministry at Re-Birth M.B. Church and The Place Church, Tampa, FL. She was a native of Dublin, GA and moved to Tampa in her early adult life. She was a longtime employee at Hillsborough County Hospital, Tampa General Hospital and Town and Country Hospital as a cook. Fannie loved traveling, cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Theodis Moore, Sr. Thurman Moore, Sr., Exodus Moore, Jr. (Albert), Simon Moore, Doretha Moore Denson, Betty Moore Wright and Willie Gene Moore and step-daughter, Beverly Ann Diggs Lewis. She leaves to cherish her memories with her children, Sharon J. Moore, Rufus Diggs, Jr. and Tim Diggs all of Tampa; grandchildren, Rashard Diggs, Danyell Diggs Davis, Roderick Diggs, Mya Marie Diggs, Rashawn White, Julian Soto, Mario Bennett and Brittani Lewis; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Edsel Moore (Dora) of Butcher, NC; sisters-in-law, Maggie Moore and Mamie Lois Barker of Detroit, MI and Lorraine Walker of Detroit, MI; brothers-in-law, Eddie Diggs, Sr. and Arthur Diggs of Eufaula, AL; uncle, Douglas Moore of Detroit, MI and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. The visitation will be held on Friday, December 29th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
