A Homegoing Service for Mrs. Floreen (Lady) Ruth Barnes Lee of Tampa, Florida who passed away on October 19, 2021, will be held, 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30th, at Aikens Funeral Home 2708 E. Martin Luther King Blvd. Tampa, Florida 33610. Rev. Kendrix Gardner, officiating. The interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Floreen was born September 6, 1950 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Wardell Barnes Sr. and Anna L. Johnson. Ladys favorite hobbies were anything related with cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Juanita Boatwright and Barbara Prescott; brothers; Tearo Johnson, Wardell "Dave" Barnes, Curtis Barnes, and Lawerence Johnson; her beloved granddaughter, LaQuetta Stephens and like a son, Levi Jones Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters; Floreen Lawson (Jason) and Carolyn Charlene Lee; grandchildren, Tearo Stephens, Tyesha Jones, Levi Jones, and Amari "Karon" Turner, great-grandchildren, JaQuayvion, ZaRyah, ZyAirrah, Zyran, Lyrix, Nion, ZaLiyah, Prince, and Makeda; brothers, Benjamin F. Johnson Jr. and Leslie J. Johnson; sisters, Carolyn E. Jones and Tina Johnson (Vernon Watkins), special aunt, Erma Madison Bell; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Phyllis Reed, Betty Snelling and "Family", Tom Flynn, Gaynell Cooper, Royale Edwards-Jones, Lawrence Malphus, and Rose Royal-Riggins.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home, Friday, October 29th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet on Saturday at the Chapel. We are following the CDC guidelines.
