A Graveside Service for Ms. Florence Anita Bludsaw of Tampa, Florida who passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 will be held on Saturday, January 30th, 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Pastor Clyde Hammond, officiating. The interment will follow.

Florence Anita Bludsaw, age 57, died on January 18, 2021. She was born March 5, 1963 in Tampa, Florida to the parentage of Benjamin Bludsaw, Sr., and Vena Bell Hammond. Florence attended the public schools of Hillsborough County, Florida and worked in the restaurant industry. 'Wimpy' a/k/a 'Flo', as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend who brought infectious joy wherever she was. She had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up any room. She loved life, she kept everyone laughing she was always the life of the party. A beautiful soul gone away too soon. She will be missed but never forgotten. Florence was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Bludsaw, Sr. and her sister, Lillian Marie Bludsaw. Those left to cherish her memory include her four children, Darmaine Jackson, Carlton McCullough, Jr., Konika Bludsaw, and Reshod Bludsaw; 14 grandchildren, Deranesha Williams, Darmaine Jackson, Jr., Danario Jackson, Darmariah Jackson, Darriana Jackson, Samya Jackson, Reagan Jackson, Raine Jackson, Jacarri Jaylen McCullough, Nae'Quan Johnson, Ramya Godfrey, Rashad Godfrey, Jr., Reshod E. Bludsaw, Jr., and Zion D. Bludsaw; 2 great-grandchildren, Davaris Hendrix and Davario Hendrix; mother, Vena Bell Hammond; 3 brothers, Pastor Clyde Hammond, Cedric Mack, and Terrence Bludsaw (Joeanna); 4 sisters, Brenda Burney, Marilyn Bludsaw Greene, Ponda Battle (Herman) and Norma Bludsaw; 3 aunts, Margaret Ann Jones, Gloria Jean Cosby and Rebbie Jacobs (Charles); honorary daughter, Tamara Buie; a devoted companion and friend, Gerard Fesser, best friends, Valencia Simpson, Luvenia Wimbley, Ernest Lee and Martha Moultre, Maggie Burns, Mennie Thomas; a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
