A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Frances Lizette Jones, of Tampa, who passed away, following a brief illness, on September 7th, 2021, will be held on Saturday, September 18th, 2:00 p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Rev. Michael Neely, officiating.

Frances Lizette Jones was born on August 18th, 1962, in Ft. Pierce, FL to Willie James Thomas, Sr., and Mae Frances Graham. She was the second youngest of four children. Frances, also lovingly known as "Fran" or "Lizette", attended the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from C. Leon King High School in 1980. She was a lifelong resident of Hillsborough County. She enjoyed shopping and couponing with friends and family. Frances was preceded in death by her father, Willie Thomas, and a granddaughter, Tamia Bailey. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: son, Darrell Jones (Cheree); daughters, Danielle Jones, Dominique Jones, and KeAundra Delaney; her mother, Mae Frances Graham; brother, Willie James Thomas, Jr. of Kissimmee, FL; sisters, Wanda Mays of High Springs, FL, and Leola Tillman (Emerson); grandchildren, Camiah, Mekhi, Jayda, Nyla, Devinii, Caden, Anthony, Daniel, and Tori; nieces, LaKendra Hicks, Shontelle Singleton, Faybryann Brown (Demetrius); nephews, LeRon Hicks, Emerson Tillman, Jr. (Sennatra), Stephen Tillman, Ellance Tillman, Adam Joy (Cherie); close friends, Twanda Bradley, Henrietta Bell (Bonnie), and Ann Vickers; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 17th from 4:00-6:00 pm. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
