Homegoing graveside service for Mrs. Francine D. Christian Crews of Tampa, who passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014, will be held on Friday, March 14th, 2:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave, Elder Clarence Sheppard, officiating. Francine was born on February 18, 1954 in Tampa, Florida. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Francine was preceded in death by her mother, Essa Christian; father, M.C. (Hubcap) Christian; aunt, Betty Jo Coleman; grandparents, Milledge and Orpie Lee Christian. She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Eddie James Crews, Sr.; children, Shantika and Latasha; step-children, Shana and Eddie, Jr.; grandchildren, Jartarius, JarQuise, Xavier, Jontecia, Erinecia, Edward, Ervin and Eryonnah; great grandchild, Zyair; brothers, Clarence (Gloria), Cornell of Houston, TX, and Tony; (Keisha); sisters, Carolyn (Wayne) and Deidra; aunts, Barbara, Gloria of Boston, MA, Tammie (Robert), Carolene, Landie of Antelope, CA and Beatrice; uncle, Clifford (Denise); nieces, Cassandra, Klanda, Katrina, Precious and Yolanda; nephews, Jason of Houston, TX, Clarence, Jr., Earnest and Chris, both of Houston, TX; cousins, Peggy Sheppard, New York, Darlene Christian and Theresa; mother-in-law, Versie Crews; brother-in-law, John; special friends, Hope, Betty, Ms. Bridgette and Mrs. Ollie; and a host of other loving cousins, relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, March 13th, from 4-7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery on Friday for the service.
