Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Francisca Melendez Romero of Tampa, FL who passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013, will be held Saturday, February 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery.Francisca Melendez Romero was born June 24, 1928 in La Playa De Humacao in Puerto Rico. She enjoyed gardening, going to the beach and going to church. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, 2 sons and nephew. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with children, William, Rosa Evelyn, Nelly, Nancy and Edwin; grandchildren, Rosita, "Lil" Willie, John Peter, Nori, Jay, Christomer, Julieann, Jessica, Edwin Anthony, Melissa, Melinda, and Kheycie; great grandchildren, Marcos. Alyssa, Paul Lois, Jermaine, Jr., Jackson, Eli, Tori, Jordan, Nayleah, Nikkolas and Joseph Anthony; brothers, Jerry, Rafael and Augie; sisters, Carmen and Carmen Luz; friends, Minerva, Migdalia, Julia, Millie, Mari, Ada, Evilisa, Nancy and Kesha. The viewing will be held Friday February 1, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home. The family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery on Saturday for the service.
