Frank Peterson was born October 6, 1939, in Parrott, Georgia to the late Joseph Peters, Sr. and Annie Mae Battle Peters. At an early age he confessed his belief of our Lord and Savior. He was a member of New Friendship M.B. Church for many years. He enjoyed listening to music and going fishing. He was also and avid craftsman. He leaves to cherish sons, Donnell Ponder, John Lee Ponder; daughters, Gwendolyn Ponder, Patricia Ponder; grandchildren, Wanda Green, Tierra Ponder, Joe Anderson and Antonio Brookins; 12 siblings, Willie Peters (Kathy) of Charlotte, NC, Jessie Peters (Gloria) of Albany, GA, Freddie Peters (Eula) of Sasser, GA, Robert Peters, and Stanley Peters (Zelda), all of Dawson, GA, Joseph Peters, Jr. of Parrott, GA, Essie May of Pennsylvania, PA, Shirley Mitchell of Valdosta, GA, Gladys Woodson (Kennedy) of Moultrie, GA, Annie Pearman (Willie), Helen Jones (Sanford), Dorothy Lewis (Walter) all of Dawson, GA; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his church family and many other relatives who will miss him.
