Homegoing services for Mr. DJ Big Daddy Frederick Brister Sr. Mr Brister was a well known DJ throughout the Tampa Bay. He was a DJ in many of the local clubs. Starting with the horseshoe on east Chelsea where Mrs. Aretha and Hershey Hobbs are the owners. At the time of his death he was a DJ at the Zanzie bar on Main St. Mr. Brister came to Tampa From Greenwood Mississippi. He was employed at Singleton Seafood as a machine mechanic for many years. He then gained employment at Del- Monte Produce Co as a supervisor until his death on October 3. 2011. He was preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Ella Rose Brister. He leaves to cherish his memory a very loving wife, JoAnn E. Brister; daughter, Aasha Brister of Stark, Mississippi; sons, Frederick Brister, Jr., Jason Brister and Freddon Brister of Tampa; 1 step-son, Jeffrey Bell (Machell) Tampa; 2 step-daughters, Charlotte Jackson (Stearling) and Selina L.
