A homegoing celebration for Mr. Frederick T. Brown 'Fred' of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 will be held Saturday, September 3rd, 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Zion M.B. Church, 2511 E. Columbus Dr., Rev. Larry Roundtree II, pastor with Rev. Eugene Brown, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Frederick was born February 21, 1966 in Tampa, Florida. He attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. He worked for Daily Eats in Tampa, Florida. Frederick was a member of New Mt. Zion M.B. Church. He enjoyed cooking, watching wrestling, other sports and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. Gibson and Geraldine Pierce; grandmother, Willie Mae James; children, Frederick and Marilyn Brown; aunts, Rose Williams and Ernestine Brown and uncle, Willie Green. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his wife, Mary Lee Thomas Brown; children, Fred Lee Jones, Marione Lavone, Jennifer and Kenny Clark-Campbell (Michelle), Ashley Brown; grandchildren, Ja'Mya Brown, Ja'Nari House, K'Mari and Clornissa Dixon and Latisha Clark; great-grandchildren, Roderick Fowler and Jaydeen Clark; brothers, Calvin and Reginald Pierce, Alvin Brown-Stanley (Dale) and Amos Gibson; sisters, Sharon Simpson, Patricia Pierce, Audrey Clarke and Pamela Gibson; aunts, Maudie Marshall, Shirley James, Denise Newsome and Verdell Mickens; nieces, Ebony Stewart, Lacosha Davis, LaQuina, Ramija, Shaka, Calvina and Tija Pierce, Jocelyn Burt, LaShunda Gibson, Latrice Mack, Maria Reed, Destiny Beales, Brandi, Tequeria , Shareka and Keyanna Brown and Shameka Williams and Kishonda Jackson; nephews, Jayden Harrison, Clennie, Aubrey, Demetrius, Malcom, Harvis, Reggie and Josh Pierce, Rashon, Willie and Jamal Stewart, Alvin Brown, Jr., Nathaniel Evans and Terryl Jackson; cousins, Sabrina Mickens, Tiffany, Shameka and Frankiesha Johnson, Sherman and Morris Harris and, Julitha Potts; sisters-in-law, Golden Pleas, Charlene Ellison and Geraldine Thomas; brothers-in-law, Tryone, Terry, Charlie and Roosevelt Pleas; a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 2nd from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
