A Mass for Mr. Garfield Sylvester Burrell of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015, will be held Tuesday, June 9th, 11:00 a.m., St. Chads Episcopal Church, 5609 N. Albany Ave, with Father Christian G. Villagomeza, officiating. The interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Garfield was born on December 7, 1958 in Kingston, Jamaica. He loved sports, his favorite football team was the New England Patriots. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorrell Burrell; father Herbert Burrell; sister, Lorna Daye and nephew, Andrew Burrell. He leaves to cherish his memories with his son, Aaron Burrell; sisters, Marva Hunt, Lola Doughlin, Jennifer Doughlin, Dorrett Christie and Joan Burrell; nieces, Camille Washington, Rosie Daye, Shemeika Daye, Denise Doughlin, Cheryl Morgan, Nicole Daye and Natasha Douglin; nephews, Joshua Daye, Jerome McIntosh, Courtney Doughlin and Troy Burrell; and a host of aunts, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends; special friend, Yolanda Small and the Small family. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Monday, June 8th from 4-7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Tuesday for the service.
