Homegoing Services for Mother Geneva Ramsey of Tampa, FL who passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3005 E. Ellicott Street, Rev. Dr. T.W. Jenkins, with, Rev. Donald Jorden, Eulogist. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. She attended Ellen Dale School in Carroll County, MS. She was a housewife. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Holiness Church of Tampa for 30 years. Mother Geneva Ramsey was born and raised in Carroll County, MS on December 12, 1926 to Jimmie and Annie Eliza Rias. She leaves cherished and loving memories with 6 children: Tommy Ramsey, Dorothy Grayer (Willie), Barbara Ramsey, Katie Hart (Lemoyne), Otis Ramsey (Sherri) and Brenda Ramsey (Raymond); nephew, Demarcus Burnett; 23 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The viewing will held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 1st from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
