Gennie was born on May 11, 1935, in Ashburn, Georgia, to Mr. Gennie Denson, Sr. and Mrs. Beatrice Denson. He was a hardworking crane operator and skilled welder of 60 years.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Ola Mae Walker, Elizabeth Hunt, and Nolen Bill Denson.


He leaves to cherish his precious memories: wife of 66 years, Geneva G. Denson; son, Allen Denson (Judia); grandson, Allen Denson, Jr.; granddaughter, Tiffany Greene; great-grandchildren, Aleckxander, Avery, Ameer and Asher Denson, Zahari, Khamari, and Jacari Greene; siblings, Carrie Mae Denson, Lula Mae Gowins, Beatrice Louise Denson, Mary Lee Banks, Clark Denson (Pete), Lela Mae Taylor, Leon Denson, and Helen Lois Denson; along with a host of sorrowing friends and family members.
