Homegoing services for Mr. George Tyrone Daniels, Sr. of Tampa, who passed away Monday, August 6, 2012, will be held on Saturday, August 11th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. George was born on August 18, 1964 in Maryland, South Carolina. He enjoyed watching sports, cooking BBQ and playing dominos. He was preceded in death by his parents, Retha Mae Hunter and George Frank Daniels. He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Rosalind McDuffie; children, George Daniels, Jr., Jermaine Thompson and Zakiyyah McDuffie; grandchildren, George Daniels III, Heaven Daniels, Tymari Daniels, Theounciyah Nedd, Areyanah Nedd and Jayvn Thompson; brothers, Josdvern Daniels, Carl Daniels, Michael Daniels, Jensen Daniels, Albert Daniels, Alfred Daniels and Willie Daniels; sisters, Derita Laster, Wanda Small, Michelle O'Neal, Sakiya O'Neal and Sharon Hill; aunt, Martha M. Leathers; nieces, Alida Daniels, Tan Hobdy, Keshia Hobdy, Shawnte Williams and Kiara Williams; nephews, Zo Williams, Fred Hobdy, Duane Williams, Perry Small and Jeremiah Williams; cousins, Gene Reed, Mark O'Neal and Terrence Leathers; and a host of other relatives and friends. The viewing will be held on Friday, August 10th, 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends at 6:00-7:00 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Chapel for the service on Saturday at 10:45 a.m.
