George was born July 28, 1950, to Ms. Bettye Walker in Orlando, Florida. The family moved to Tampa when he was a young child, and they settled in Central Park Village. He moved back to Orlando where he was educated in Orange County public schools. George loved baseball and was an outstanding baseball player in high school. He graduated from Jones High school in 1969. After graduating from high school, he moved to New Jersey where he met and married his wife, Elizabeth. For almost 20 years, George worked as a tractor trailer driver, first for All State Engineering, then for various other companies in the New Jersey area before returning to Florida. George worked various jobs in Orlando until he became ill and could no longer work. He transitioned on January 18, 2022. He was preceded in death by his former spouse, Elizabeth; son, James; grandparents, Ethel Lee and Lorenzo McClendon; mother, Bettye Jean McClendon Walker; stepfather, Carey E. Barnes, Sr.; sisters, Peggy McClendon Manuel, Yvette Barnes, and Mary (Pumpkin) Barnes-Davis; aunts and uncles, Isabell and Charlie Little, Mary and Leroy Penson, and Sarah McClendon; cousin, Deborah Penson-May; and nephew, Sean Manuel. George leaves to mourn his passing, 5 children, Jerrad McClendon, Jainne McClendon, Trenton, New Jersey, George McClendon Williams, Tampa, FL; stepsons, James Robinson and Gerald Robinson, Trenton, New Jersey; grandchildren, Jordan A. McClendon, Jerrad D. McClendon, Jr., Jaian McClendon, all of Trenton, New Jersey; great grandson, Jaki McClendon, Trenton, New Jersey; brothers, Carey Barnes, Jr., Louis Barnes (Jacquelyn), Alvin Walker (Sherry); like a brother and best friend, Alvin Whitehead, Orlando, FL; sister, Brenda M.Roberson; like a sister, Vanderlyn Williams, and Angela Williams; nieces, Bershauna Moore, Jyra Barnes-Fountain (Daniel), Jaquel Barnes, Kla Walker, Carrington, Kennedy, Jamiyah Smith, Aniya Baker, Morgan Barnes, Mackenzie Barnes, Kornelya, DAundria, Sasha Ashley, Reagan Ashley, and Jolie Best; nephews, Ian Manuel, Sean Manuel, Jr., Daryl Manuel, Anthony Baker, John H.
