Homegoing Memorial service for Mr. George O. Shuman, Jr. of Tampa who passed away, Saturday, August 11, 2012, will be held on Saturday, August 18th, 2:00 p.m., at Christian Praise and Worship Center, 2605 N. 15th street, Pastor Leon Gallon, officiating. George was born January 28, 1932 in Tampa, FL and attended Christian Praise Worship Center. George served in the U.S. army 83nd air Bourne 111 regent. He attended school in Hillsborough County and graduated from Don Thompson in Oakwood, L.A. He was preceded in death by mother, Mildred Henderson; father, George Shuman, Sr.; grandmother, Bertie Henderson; uncle, Bennie Shuman; aunts, Julia Wells and Emma Lee Shuman; cousin, Beverly Nelson Bellamy and brother-in-law, Albert Edwards. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with wife, Jacqueline Shuman; daughter, Crystal Shuman of New York City; sisters, Myrna P. Shuman and Satura Shuman (Derek); aunts, Thelma Shuman, Eula Strange and Joy Watts; nieces, Tweety, Sharvon, Tiffany and Keyanna Reynolds, Domonique Edwards and Lyric Young, Monique, Renee and Simone Watts; nephews, Bennie McGee, Zaire and Nyheme Watts; cousins, Harry Shuman, Delores Hunter, Rhonda Hunter, Darrell Hunter, Kevin Bellamy, Charles Bellamy, Lisa Bellamy, Ann Addley (Patrick), Kathy Martimer, Cathy Pringley, Murveen Pringley, Valerie Sellers (Jim), Janet Albright, Leo Strange and Bruce Strange (Martina); mother-in-law, Mildred Edwards; father-in-law, Fred Watts; brothers-in-law, Nathaniel Watts (Chinovia), Jack Watts, Johnny Watts (Angela); sisters-in-law, Rita, Pamela Edwards and Shelly Watts; special friends, Dewey Butler, Perry King, Butch Darby, the late Chink Gallon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
