George was born November 8, 1953, in Bainbridge Georgia. He had a love for life, being outside was his main passion, he didn't care what the activity was. He loved riding his bike and had a profound love for music and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Allen Brown and Flossie Mae Breedlove-Brown; brother, John Brown; sister, Lu'Alice Barber and his wife, Judy Brewster.

He leaves to cherish his memories: son, George Brown, Jr.; sisters, Dorothy Dow-Nelson and Rosalyn Brown; nieces, Hattie Mae Dow-Jones, Guecoba Dow-Sylvester, Terry Dow-Harris (Brian ), Tonette Mitchell and Patricia Adams; nephews, Richard Dow, Eric Dow, Michael Dow, Reginald Mitchell, Eric Vickers and Joseph Mitchell; great nieces, Ashley Dow, Dorothy Dow, Tabitha Harries, Iesha Jones, Breanna Harris, Varont'e Smith, Shawntanae Dow, Guecoba Dow, Sade Dow, Dashawn Harvey, Kendall Sylvester, Tylia Sylvester and Ashanti Sylvester, great nephews; Mario Sylvester, Michael Harvey, Byron Harris, Eric Nelson, and a host of other great-great nieces, other loving relatives and friends.
