Geraldine was born on August 4, 1947, to Willie C. Adams and Sarah (Sneed) Adams. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing pool, cards, dominoes, cooking, family gatherings, traveling, life and cleaning. She also actively helped in the community under Tampa Housing Community and (THAP) Tampa Hillsborough Action Plan.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy, Joseph, Will, Johnny, and James R. Adams; sisters, Maeola Bell, Sarah Adams; son, James Michael Ashley; spouse, Rudolph Ashley; and grandchildren, Khazamir Tysaiah Keon Davis and Brandi Diandra Johnson.

She leaves behind many cherished memories with her children, Venus M. Bell, Linda D. (Williams) Andrews (Steven), Patricia L. Williams, Jovan E. Ashley, and Michael S. Ashley; stepchildren; Alveria Ashley, Woodard, Rudolph C. Ashley and Jovan Ashley; sisters, Viola Adams, Gracie Mae Adams (Mays) and Alice Faye Smith; a host of grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; godchildren (Brad, Carlos, Robert, Barrett-Lefty) and special friends.
