A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Geraldine Daniels Harris of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 will beheld on Saturday, November 30th, 2:00 p.m. at New Hope M.B. Church, 3003 E. Ellicott Street, Tampa, FL, Minister Bruce Bryant, officiated. The interment will be held in Orange Hill Cemetery. Geraldine Daniels Harris was born on August 27, 1950 in Hatchechubbee, Alabama to the late Calvin and Mary Ella Daniels. Geraldine relocated to Tampa, FL at a young age in 1964. She attended and graduated from Hillsborough County Schools. She worked many years as a private housekeeper and went to become employed with Hillsborough County Schools as a bus attendant until her retirement. In 1973, she married her husband, Arthur Harris until she gained her heavenly wings. Geraldine was preceded in death by her only son, Willie James Jackson, Jr. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with a devoted, loving and dedicated husband, Arthur Harris; 3 daughters, Stephanie Jackson-Jones (Daryl), Katrenia Harris (Darryn) and Crystal Harris; 6 grandsons, Riley Jackson, Sr., Ryan Jackson, Robert Jones, Jr., Tyler Jackson, Jimmy Muhammad and Colby Williams; granddaughter, Lani Segovia; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Lee Jackson, Early B. Wilson and Mary Ann Brown (Willie); brothers, Johnny Daniels and Jessie Daniels; sisters-in-laws, Ella Mae Thomas, Gussie Mae Brown, Eveline Dawson (Kenneth), Evelyn Harris, Jennifer Harris Jackson and Faye Harris; brothers-in- law, Eddie Harris (Theresa), Rufus Harris (Rose), Danny Harris (Pam) and Troy Harris; sister friends, Frances Curry (Ron), Mary Thomas (Henry), Ann Harris (George) and Velma Stewart; special neighbors, Algie and Leon Baptist, Emma Williams and Augustina Gibbons. The visitation will beheld at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family willreceive friends from 5-6 p.m. The family and friends met at the church on Saturday for the service.
