Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Gladys J. Bludsaw-Brown of Tampa who passed away Thursday July 31, 2014 will be held Tuesday, August 5th at 11:00 a.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Gladys J. Bludsaw-Brown was born October 5, 1943 in Tampa, FL to the late Benjamin Bludsaw and Hilda Wheeler-Bludsaw. She was preceded in death by parents and brother, Calvin Jackson. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with children, William Brown, Jr., Sonia Brown and Valerie Brown; grandchildren, Charles Wynn III, Devin C. Wynn, Rikeisha Wynn-Lathan, Travis D. Wynn, Rikalia Wynn, En'dea I. Brown, Varshawna J. Black, J'akeecia J. Villard and Jean P. Villard, Jr.; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Benjamin Bludsaw, Jr., Horace Bludsaw, Kenneth Bludsaw (Patricia), George Bludsaw (Joyce); sisters, Evelyn L. Williams, Ronita Durant, Linda D. McCollum and Shirley Johnson (Eddie); aunt, Jessie Mae Bass and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Monday, August 4th from 4 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Tuesday for the service.
