After receiving her degree she became a Supervisor with Hillsborough County Community Health and Human Services with 35 years under her belt after retiring. Gladys Ann Nathan Kitchens did 27 years in the United States Navy Reserve her rank was CTA2-E-5 out of Orlando, Florida. Gladys enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, a good quality of mommy's was she loved helping people, she had a very big and kind heart. Mommy was a very simple person, it didn't take much to fall in love with her because she had a way of making you feel special, even after you made yourself look not so nice. Mommy loved spending time with KeShawna Kitchens her 12 year old granddaughter. When you saw mommy, you saw KeKe and when you saw KeKe, you saw mommy, they were inseparable. Let's not forget Saber (mommy's dog, the long hair Chihuahua) wherever she went, he had to go. If she had to leave him behind, he would sit right by the front door or in the window and wait for her to come back. Mommy loved doing her scratch offs and won often. She didn't mind sharing. If she won, so did you. Mommy also liked playing lottery, sipping on her Sweet Tea and her Dr. Peppers, and loved her reality shows.
