Homegoing services for Mrs. Gloria Cynthia Hart of 4820 Timber Way., who passed away, Tuesday, July 24, 2010, will be held Saturday, August 7th, 11:00 a.m., Cathedral of Faith Church, 6304 30th, Street, Rev. Clarence Nathan, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Hart was born September 30, 1946 in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Hart attended Hillsborough County Schools in addition to graduating from Bethune Cookman College Class of 1964. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church until her health began to fail. She was employed at Middleton Jr. High School now known as AJ.Ferrell Middle Magnet School for 28 years as a Principal Secretary. She was a loving person who cared for her students as her own. She always had a smile to brighten your day. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin R. Hart and Pearlie M. Hart. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted daughter, Tangela Mitchell and fiancAC., Bakor Rivers Jr.; son, O'dell Mitchell (Queenie); grandchildren, Ta'Zjahna Hollingshed, Ti'Juanhna Hollingshed, Chirstan Belcher, Spencer Mitchell, Jalonda Hollingshed, Odell Mitchell III., Ladell Mitchell, L.J. Campbell, Johnt'e Johnson and Johnny Johnson, brother, Alfonso Salter and friend, Regina; uncle, Daniel Salter; nieces, Karen Hart, Calandra Williams, Tamiko Salter, RaShonda Bulmer, Ericka Salter, Gaye Lamar, Gloria Lamar, Dana Lamar; nephew, Michael Mitchell; godchildren, Nichole Williams, Keisha Williams, Alshante Squire, Chenette Wooden, Bryan Wooden, Quay Copeland and Alphonso Clark; special life long friends, Willie W., Rose B., Sam S., Jimmie H., Rosemary J., Cassie F., Gloria A., Phyllis J., Freddie H., Peggy and Sydney Gassett and Clara; Pat Scott and a host of other family and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, August 6th from 5-8 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service.
