Obituary

Mrs.Gloria Marie Wiley, born to the late Ernest Lee and Ethel Katherine Jones in Miami, Florida, was the eleventh of twelve children in their loving family. She was a proud graduate of Miami Edison High School and Southwestern Christian College. On October 28, 1989, she married the love of her life, Joseph Wiley. Together, they were blessed with one child and a bonus child for Joseph, forming a family grounded in love and faith. Gloria devoted over 30 years to the Department of Health, where she served with dedication and integrity before retiring. From a young age, she embraced her faith, obeying the gospel and remaining a faithful servant of the Lord throughout her life. Her commitment to Christ and her church family was evident in her daily walk, as she touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth, and generosity. Known for her love of family, Gloria treasured time spent with loved ones. She was happiest helping others, enjoying joyous family gatherings, and embarking on exciting cruise adventures. Her infectious spirit and unwavering love left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

Gloria was preceded in death by:  parents, Ernest Lee and Ethel Katherine Jones; siblings David Jones, Willie Jones, Leon Jones, Robert Jones, Sr., Carolyn Yvonne Cargil, Emmanuel Jones, and Alma Lee; and grandson, Noah Jean. She leaves behind to celebrate her life and rejoice in her heavenly homegoing her devoted husband, Joseph Wiley; two daughters, Eboni Jackson and Alysan Jean (Jobby); two cherished granddaughters, Ashlyn Jackson and Royale Jean; three sisters, Margaret Wiggins (Robert), Eula Jones, and Juanita Baughman; one brother, Larry Jones (Barbara); one sister-in-law, Brenda Wiley; and her best friend, Sandra Jones. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her beloved church family. Let us honor Sister Gloria Wiley's memory by emulating her example of faithfulness, love, and service. She will be deeply missed but joyfully remembered as a true servant of God.
