Gloria was born on July 2, 1943, in Tampa, Florida, to Oscar Belton, Sr. and Thelma Belton. Her favorite activities were reading, traveling, and helping others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Belton, Sr. and Thelma Belton; and brothers, Oscar Belton, Jr. and Robert Belton.

She leaves precious memories with her husband, Raymond Young; children, Raymond Young, Jr., Carlton Young, James Young, Vincent Young, Vanessa Young McKinney, Christopher Young, Sr., Sophia Muff-Young, and Steven Young; a host of grand and great-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Belton (Tonya); sisters, Sylvia Darby, Helen Simmons (Willie), and Shirley Chatham (Freddie); and a host loving relatives and friends.
