Homegoing services for Mr. Gregory Reche Gadis of Tampa, who passed away, Saturday, October 5, 2013, will be held Saturday, October 12th, 10:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Pastor William Granville and Evangelist Cassandra Granville, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Gregory was born July 10, 1951 in Tampa, Florida to the late Rufus and Mary Jane Gadis. He attended Hillsborough County Public schools. He was employed in various positions with the county and also was a self-employed landscaper. Gregory was preceded in death by son, Reche Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol E. Frazier Gadis; son, Gregory R. Currley and Jackie; step-daughter, Rita Rhanes; sisters, Tommie Lee Anderson, Emmadean Brown, Evangelist Cassandra Granville and husband, William and Elaine Everhart; brother Delano Gadis; humble and devoted nephew, Edward Anderson and wife, Neal; father-in-law, Valine Hill (Charlie); sisters-in-law, Shirley Gadson, Pastsy Gadsden, Naomie Bruce, Joan Dunkley (Earl), Debra Scott (Richard), Rose Bruce, Patsy Stoudemire (Ernest), Sherette White (Llyod) and Felicia Samuel (Paul); brothers-in-law, Keith Bruce (Rene), Joseph Bruce, Vincent Hill and V.J. Hill; cousin-in-law, Twila Lindsey; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
