It is with great sadness that the family of Gregory Anthony Jackson, affectionately known as "Magic" of "Greg", announce his passing on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in Tampa, Florida. Greg was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 6, 1964, to Julius Jackson, Jr., and Helen Crisostomo Jackson. "Magic" was a committed and dedicated husband as well as an employee of the Hillsborough County Electrical Department. A True Rasta, an avid swimmer, outdoorsman, and lover of nature, he enjoyed growing up on the island of St. Croix. He was known for his love of dancing, partying, and enjoying family gatherings at home while savoring delicious foods, and conversation with his children, grandchildren, and friends while sponsoring community events within his neighborhood.
He is survived by wife, Dernella "Dee" Jackson; children, Gregory Jr., Raheem, Ragib, Tah-Lii, Vanessa Fatal, and Renessia Jackson; stepdaughter, Giselle DeJesus, and Kehma Thomas; mother, Helen Crisitimo Jackson, and father, Julius Jackson, Jr.; brothers, Marlon, and Steve Jackson, and Anthony "Trinity" Peters; sisters, Adelaide Peters, Lucia Polydore, Tresia, and Denise Jackson; as well as a host of numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
