A homegoing celebration for Mr. Gregory Edward Simpson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on December 4, 2017 will be held Saturday, December 23rd, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Kaceilea C. Simpson, officiating. Gregory Edward Simpson was born January 21, 1971 in Tampa, Florida. Gregory enjoyed being outdoors and he enjoyed nature. He had a deep respect and passion for fishing. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Diane S. Simpson; uncle, Willie E. Facin and best friend, Thomas Kelly. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his parents, Alfonso D. Strong and Judy A. Grantlin; god-daughter, Deiyaira Edwards; god-grandchildren, Zai'quaiya Jackson and Lynniyah Moore; brothers, Alfonso D. Strong, Jr., Zem C. Strong, Sharnell D. Strong and Torrey Damon; sisters, Victoria C. Simpson and Tameka D. Norris; aunts, Jean A. Kelly, Erma L. Williams and Amy D. Simpson; uncle, Gregory C. Simpson; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. The visitation will be held Friday, December 22nd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
