Gwendolyn, often referred to as "Louise", was born on March 2, 1948, in West Palm Beach, Florida, to Emmett and Elizabeth Rolfe.


She loves cooking, sewing, singing, and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Water Boone; stepparents, James and Tinnie Lee Peel; brother, Min. Melvin Rolfe, Sr.; sisters, Thelma Kelsey, Alecia Hartway, Masie Mckellar Arnetta Edwards; uncles, Jasper, Elmo, Henry, and Albert Vickers; brothers-in-law, Emmanuel Gulley, Keith Hartway, Brother Foster Thomas-Buster.

She leaves precious memories with her children, Elijah Bivens, Jr. (Ashley), Tangela Bivens (Clifford), and Janetta Louise Johnson; grandchildren, Ebony Shorty, Elijah Bivens III, Nyikittia Huff, Shaquttia Sylvester, Harvette Bellamy, Jr., Rayne Carter Bivens, Zachary Carter Bivens, Carter Blessing Bivens; great-grandchildren, Calvin Washington, Hakiem Bellamy, Prince Bellamy, Kyree Jordan, Starrla Bivens, Edan Bivens, Elijah Bivens III; brother, Joseph Rolfe (Nichelle); sister, Valerie Gulley; close family friends, Elijah Bivens, Sr., Luvator Nealson, Tangela and the Mack Family; sister-in-laws, Lynne Rolfe, Frances Dumas, Essie Copeland, Jean Jones, and Inez Donaldson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
