Mrs. Gwendolyn T. Lindo (Gwen)

A Celebration of life Memorial service for Mrs. Gwendolyn T. Lindo (Gwen) of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, will be held on Saturday, October 7th at, 1:30 p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home Tampa, FL, Elder Alvin Wingfield, officiating. Gwendolyn was born on March 20, 1937, to James and Mayola Thompson.

She enjoyed sewing, bowling, gardening, and listening to music, she also was in the Fantasy Football League for 20 years. Gwen attended public school in Tampa, FL where she graduated from Middleton High School in 1954. She was a member of the New Hope Missionary Church. Gwendolyn worked at Honeywell for 21 years and Johnson Control for 25 years and continued working at Walmart for 15 years until she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents; James and Mayola Thompson, eight sisters, one brother, and one grandson. She leaves behind to cherish her memories children; Maurice Campbell (Linda), Cassandra Borders (Lyndon), Craig Thompson (Darliscia), Michael Lindo (Simone), Dallisa Lindo (BJ); Ten grandchildren; Cedric Gordon (Cathy), Quentin Thompson, Latreese Lindo, Gregory Thompson (Lamecha), Ashley Thompson, Steven Walker, Marquise Campbell, Tadeej Hines, Tishani Lindo, and Courtney Lindo, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
