Gwendolyn was born on November 5, 1956, in Charleston, South Carolina, to James and Ellen Gladden.

Her favorite activities were ministering, reading, cooking and shopping.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Terri Lynn Mallory and sister, Ann Meyers.

She leaves precious memories with her husband, Terry Mallory; children, Damien Baskerville (Erica), Ebony Johnson (Marcus), Sheria Mallory, and Terrin Mallory; grandchildren, Damien Baskerville, Jr., Maddison Baskerville, Donovan Johnson, Mallory Johnson, Bubby Mallory, and Jayla Collins; brother, Melvin Meyers; nieces, Janice Redding, and Jaquetta Lamb; nephews, Shawn Fogle, Rahshad Meyers, Kevius Meyers, and Jason Meyers.
