Homegoing services for Ms. Gwendolyn Miller of Tampa, who passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014, will be held Saturday, June 28th, at 2 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Gwendolyn was born in Tampa, Florida and attended Hillsborough County Public Schools. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and cousin. Gwendolyn professed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was affectionately known as Gwen to family and friends and had a big loving heart. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud and Jeopardy to name a few of her favorite game shows, she had a passion for music and also cared for her collection of dolls. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Lillie Henderson; 3 sisters, Jacquelyn Walker, Sylvia P. Baker both of Tampa. and Min. Sandra Badgett (Lendsey) of Clayton, NC; 2 brothers, Danny B. Miller and Amado L. Pedroso, Jr., both of Tampa; 2 nieces, Santanna Guzman (Freddy) and Chiquavia Bankston all of Tampa; 4 nephews, James Simmons, Jr., Calvin Ivory both of Tampa, Ronald S. Dove, Jr., (Aliya) and Timothy J. Badgett (Asia) all of Clayton, NC; 6 great nieces, Shaniyah R. Dove, Kimora D. Badgett both of Clayton, NC, Sam'Miyah B. MacClendon, Kha'Liyha Bankston, Zyani Mitchell, Emilee Mitchell all of Tampa; 1 adored aunt, Eunice Frazier; 2 loving cousins, Theresa Farquharson and Mattie Y. Smith (Tom);a host of other cousins and friends. The visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service on Saturday.
