Harold Harry
Hunter Iii
July 11, 1978 – May 13, 2024
On July 11, 1978, his parents, Harold Harry Hunter, Jr., and Maggie L. Williams-Hunter celebrated the birth of their first-born child, Harold Harry Hunter III. On July 8,1983, their second born child and his beloved sister, Deanna, brought so much joy, happy days, and enduring love to their family, too. Notably, he was immensely proud of his name, Harold; as the movie character, Kunta Kinte performed in the original Roots, he was affectionately called "Harry" by beloved family members. He was also nicknamed "Hog" by his close friends, other associates, and individuals.
Harold was a lifelong Tampa resident and attended the Hillsborough County Public Schools. Later, he learned to unlock his dreams beyond the classroom and became a real-world success, as a self-employed custom car audio sound system installer. He loved music and took considerable pride in transforming car sound systems to make "joyful noises" for other listening ears. Harold lived the "good life", "Tampa Bay-style;" and enjoyed fun-loving gatherings and smiling faces; eating good tasting foods with all the trimmings; making one feel "super special" with a caring spirit; and doing a "happy dance" when a large roll of "dead presidents" were in his pocket! He expressed endless love as a son. father, brother, and other family connections. He cherished close relationships, devoted friends, and adored children who "treated him like their own "superhero!" A man of strong conviction, he often declared confidently, "I am blessed!" Without hesitation or reservation, we reverently agreed and said, Amen!
Harold was preceded in death by those who loved him: paternal grandparents, Harold Harry Hunter, Sr., Luvenia Hunter-Mitchell, and stepfather, James; maternal grandparents; Earliest and Leila S. Williams; sister, Michelle Cusseaux; and respectively, other family members whose names are unlisted.
Harold leaves to treasure his life remembered as a blessing in the hearts of his: beloved two daughters, ZaviEra Blount ( Jaylen), and Zaraiyah Davis; son, Kelontae Pringle; father, Harold Harry Hunter, Jr.; mother, Maggie L. Williams-Hunter; stepfather, Luis Caracas; a devoted companion, Teresa Williams; brothers, Michael Hunter and Harold Coleman; sisters, Deanna Hunter (Tracy), Ecinda Brown (Tammy), and Shantika Hunter; aunts, Lisa Hunter, Princeton, NJ; Juanita M.
