January 4, 1956 – January 5, 2023
Harold nicknamed "Harry," "Diamond Lank", was born on January 4, 1956, in Tampa, FL., to Wallace and Minnie Langston. He was a graduate of Hillsborough Senior High School, Class of 1973. His hobbies were music, songwriting, coaching, swimming, golfing, karaoke, spending quality time with his family, children, grandchildren, friends, and especially his mother. He also enjoyed mini vacations with his longtime companion Alicia. He was a member of the musical group Black Starr. He was a halfback for the original PAL Eagles. He retired as a sheet metal worker and started his own AC repair business "All Day Comfort," which he operated until his demise. He recently received his Certificate of Theology at The Crossing Bible College, where he developed a strong relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Langston; paternal grandparents, Henry and Martha Langston; maternal grandparents, Mattie Williams- Lankford and Homer Bell (Katie); brother, Anthony "Bay Bro" Thomas.
He leaves precious memories with his companion, Alicia Satchel; children, Nick (Demetris), Kelo, Anthony, and Sharrod Langston, Shontina Whitfield, and Marlo Richardson; grandchildren, Nakia, Tylia, Kaylan, Khloe, Anthony II, Aamir, Jayceon, Sharrod Jr., Saniya Langston, and Sherriana Hillmon; great grandchildren, Zj, Kia, and Nylia Langston; mother, Minnie Langston; brothers, Wallace Langston, Jr. (Eva), and Timothy Langston; sister, Freddye Bivens (James); a host of nephews, nieces and cousins; special cousins, State Representative Dianne Hart, Donald Simmons and Robert Bell; bonus children, Teneca Williams (Mark), Kawanna Buggs, Aviana Plair, Ebony Williams, Jasmine Slatton, Idaliss Algarin and devoted caregiver/daughter Shantwan Allen; special friends, Sharon Finklea, Jimmy Bass, Ernest Adams, Charles Thomas, Betty Vasquez, Ray Grimsley, Shawn Brown, and Melvin Stone; a host of lifelong and childhood friends; and a host of other relatives and friends. The Langston family would like to thank Moffitt Cancer Center, Lifepath Hospice and the Allen/Williams family for the exceptional and loving care provided to our loved one.
