Funeral Services for Mrs. Hazel Lee, of 504 E. Emily St., who passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2009, will be held Saturday, April 4th, 11:00 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., with Rev. James Mitchell, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Lee was born February 8, 1926, in Clearwater, Florida, to the late Napolean and Susan (Morrow) Demps. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She was preceded in death by both parents and a daughter, Donna Griffith. She leaves to cherish fond memories of her: husband of 21 A years, Kenneth Lee; children, Juliette Pedlar, of Lauderhill, FL, Ruth Vaughan, of N. Lauderdale, FL, Phyllis Grant, of Lauderhill, FL, Calvin Lee, of Junction City, KS, Junior Lee, of Junction City, KS and Chris Valdez; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Bettie Burnett, of Clearwater, FL; sister-in-law, Sweetie Lee; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. The remains will repose at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, April 3rd, from 5 to 8 p.m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel approximately 10:45 a.m. Saturday for the service.
