Homegoing services for Mrs. Helen Louise Jones of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012, will be held on Saturday, November 24th, 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Zion M.B. Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, with Rev. Allen Cusseaux, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Helen Louise Jones was born June 11, 1932 in Parrot, Georgia. She was a member of New. Mt. Zion M. B. Church. She enjoyed gardening, shopping and spending time with family. She was a faithful member of her church for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Carl Baker Russell, Jr.; parents, James and Iola Capeland; sister, Theortics Hall and brother, Adolphus Copeland. She leaves to cherish her memories with husband, Lester Jones; children, Shirley Yvonne Green and Clinton Leon Sherman; grandchildren, Trysha Russell, Carlton Russell, Ashley Harrison, Clineathea Harrison, Bianca Sherman; great grandchildren, Trayshauna Brown and Kiara Brown; great great grandchildren, Christopher Wallace, Jr., Kianna Wallace, Alexis Nichole Russell and Demarko Russell; brother, James Copleland, Jr.; sister-in-law, Deloris Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and caregivers of some place like home and hospice. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 23rd, from 5-8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
