Homegoing services for Mrs. Helen Williams of Brandon who passed away, Saturday, November 15, 2014, will be held Saturday, November 22nd, 11:00 a.m. at Designer's Way Christian Church, 3910 US Hwy 301, Pastor Ron Simmons, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Helen was born January 17, 1929 in Florence, South Carolina. She was a member of Designer's Way Christian Church. She enjoyed sports (basketball, baseball and football) and spending time with her family and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Jackson, Sr., Edna Jackson; step-father, Willie B. Jackson; brothers, John Williams, Cleveland and Theodore Jackson, Jr.; and sister, Kathleen Jackson. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Elaine Daniels, Lauderhill, FL, Sharron Whittaker (Thomas), Boston, MA, Hazell Murrell (Thorne), Woodridge, VA, Jacqueline Lynch (Robert), Brandon, FL and Willie Williams, Boston, MA; grandchildren, Darnell Beckett, Ron Simmons, Chanda Williams, Semetra Murrell-Reid, Strysan Murrell, Sherry Murrell, Teanna Lynch, Syreeta Williams, Starr Lynch and Khalil Williams; great grandchildren, Darnell, Jr., Kiarrah, Jayelin and Makenna Beckett, Jesse, Jasiri, Jayden, and Jeila Simmons, Kyesha and Quinton Williams, Khai Lynch, Zariyah Reid and Niaja Kamalo; great great granddaughter, Civannah Williams; brother, Willie B. Jackson, Jr.; sisters, Betty Williams and Barbara J. Curtis; and a host of other loving relatives. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 21st. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
