Homegoing Services for Mr. Horace Glenn, Sr. "Jap" of Tampa who passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015, will be held on Saturday, January 31st, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Rev. Dr. Evan Burrows, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Horace was a member of First Baptist Church of College Hill. He loved God, his family, gospel music and sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Sarah Glenn; wife, Ruth Walker Glenn; 2 brothers, Monroe and David Glenn; sister, Edith Baldwin and son, Kenneth Michael Glenn. He leaves to cherish his memories with;children, Vernon Glenn (Clara), Gloria Bagley Taylor (Chuck), Horace Glenn, Jr. and Casey Glenn; grandchildren, Koi Glenn, Sammecia Bagley, Jamilia Bagley, Nicole Glenn, Kimberly Glenn, Tiffani Glenn, Jan Grace (Roger), Alissa Freeman, James Glenn, Sherese Glenn, Shandrea Glenn, Alexus Glenn; brothers, Morris Glenn Sr. and Thomas Glenn; sisters, Florence Joseph (Paul), Thelma Gainey (William) and Nancy Grant; daughter-in-law, Janice Glenn;and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins,special friends and relatives, Ernest Plummer, Bridgette Glenn, Barbara Tabor, Alicia Edwards, Karen Peoples and Ira Bucklon;. The visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of College Hill on Friday, January 31st from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
