Humberto was born September 14, 1941, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, to the late Victor and Angela Dominguez. Humberto was a welder by trade and a master of many other trades such as being a mechanic, plumber, electrician, and gardener. He loved to restore old antique radios and listen to music. You could often find him in the kitchen because he was an excellent cook. He loved his family and friends dearly. Humberto was affectionately called "Honey" by his wife, Minnie of thirty-five years, they met on a blind date in January of 1988.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Angela Dominguez; brothers, Victor, Modesto, and Rafael Dominguez.

He leaves behind cherished memories to his wife, Minnie Sutton-Dominguez; children, Thomas Dominguez, Rafael Dominguez (Marangeli), Eric Alexander (Shemeka), Aida Dominguez (Samuel), and Angelica Morales; grandchildren, Jason and Ismael Marte, Chris, Krizia, and Sebastian Morales, Cristian, Nathanael, Koralys, Alondra, and Ian Dominguez, Bianca Hill, Sanai, Emiliana, and Shimere Alexander; sisters, Antonia, Theodora, and Georgina Dominguez; brothers in-law, Lawson Sutton (Charmaine), Gary Sutton, Virgil T. Richardson and Johnny Lowe (Shirlene); sister in-law, Ruby P. Richardson (Gene); and a host of other relatives and friends.
