Ida was born June 20, 1946, in Pheba, Mississippi. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and especially loved watching sports with them. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters. She leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Avery Griffin, and Anthony Brownlee both of Tampa; grandchildren, Ebony Davis of Tampa and Averyneasha Griffin of Georgia; sisters, Katie Shotwell-Jackson of San Francisco, CA, and Glenda Shotwell-Carter of Bakersfield, CA; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; nephew, Lee M. Davidson, Sr. (Mary), Lee M. Davidson, Jr., Evan Boler, Tyrone Ware; very special great great nephew, Lorenzo Davidson Hearns; nieces, Lora Boler (Terry), Tanisha McDaniel, Monica M. Davidson, Annazetta Harris, Mureeah Rahem and Tangela Boler; and cousin, Valorie Belk, and Mary McDaniel(Hayward); and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, December 29th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Saturday for the service.
