Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Ida M. Stubbs of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013, will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 10: 30 a.m., at Living Faith Assembly of God, 5500 E. Sligh Ave., Pastor Eugene Davis, Jr., officiating. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery. Ida M. Stubbs was born April 13, 1941 in West Palm Beach, Florida to the parentage of the late Mr. Dola McCloud Sr., and Mrs. Agnes McCloud. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Stubbs; sons, Robert T. Mott and Tony A. Stubbs; brother, Dola McCloud, Jr.; sisters, Elouise Powell and Zola Mae Conyers and aunt, Juanita Long. Ida received her education in the public schools of Hillsborough County and attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Mrs. Stubbs was a loving, devoted, caring wife, and mother. She was a woman who exemplified the meaning of friendship and integrity. She leaves to cherish her memory with her son, Robert Tyrone Stubbs; 4 daughters, Brenda Vandedor and husband, Ellis, Tiann Stubbs, Felicia Davis and husband, Eugene and Angela Stubbs Johnson; grandchildren, Tanina Stubbs, Genecia Davis, Tonika Turner Stubbs, Larry Johnson, Jr., Michael Johnson, Ariel Dotson, Lanaya Stubbs and Kayla Stubbs; great grandchildren, Enrico Adams, Montera Harmon, Adrielle Johnson, Eunique Stubbs, Eugene Atkins, Tomanice Godbolt, Caprice Stubbs and Tony A. Stubbs, Jr.; and a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 9th from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. and the family will receive guest during the wake from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service on Thursday.
