Homegoing service for Mrs. Idell Warren who passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 will be held on Saturday, February 14th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Elder Curtis Ponder, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born July 18, 1939 in Dublin, Georgia. She was a graduate of Hillsborough County, Florida. Tenured in the health field and lastly at AMI Memorial Hospital. She thoroughly enjoyed taking care and providing compassion for those in her care. As a mother and wife, cooking and keeping her home in an immaculate condition was done meticulously. She became an avid reader and student of the bible and accepted its teaching. Idell often shared her belief with others. She voiced the unacceptable behaviors of those who seemed not to revel in the love she grew to love for others and their lack of compassion for others. Yes, she truly loved her family and those close to her. She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Charlie Earl Warren, Sr; daughters, Angela E. Warren-Norwood (Willie-deceased) and Earline V.Warren-Kennedy (fiance' Mike); sons: Charlie Earl Warren Jr.,Reginald R. Warren, Clarence D. Warren, (pre-deceased) Kenneth E. Warren (Iris), and Anthony V. Warren (Sabrina). grandsons : Michael Warren (Murrie), Michael Charles Jr, Derrick Warren, Reginald Warren Jr., Anthony Warren Jr., Charles Epps, Marquis Charles, Antonio Warren, Terrence Warren, Reginald Warren III; granddaughters: Regina Epps, Janell Lester{Anthony}, Ebony Warren, ShaRonda Warren, Ashley Warren, Jarel McKay (Roger), Marquila Charles, Shandrea Warren, Keneisha Warren; Twenty-five great-grand sons and twenty-two greatgrand daughters; brothers: Deuteronomy Wimbley (deceased), Thessalon Wimbley (deceased), and Titus A. Wimbley (Tampa); sisters: Beulah M. Young (deceased), Mary L. Jones (deceased) and Queen E. Holmes, JD, BSN, ANA Cert. R.N. (Julius) of Tampa; nieces: Barbara Watson, Verna M. Wimbley, Joann Wimbley, Pennie Holmes-Brown, Patricia Thomas (Ron), Mary Ramsey (Thurman), Beverly Jones, Cynthia Jones, Caprese Thompkins (Aubrey); nephews: Benny Parlor, Allen Wimbley, Bobby Bradberry, Larry Jones, Derek R. Holmes (Atlanta,GA) Sheridan Jones, Julius N. Holmes, Tito Wimbley, September Wimbley ,Kardell Wimbley, Artis Wimbley (Texas); sisters-in-law: Bernice Warren-Holmes N.Y., Carolyn Warren Crawford, Queen Warren-Chezes, Beann Warren, Anita Warren, Arlene Warren, Darlene Warren, Sheila Warren-Hall and Patricia Warren, all of Griffin, GA; brother-in-law: Jimmy W. Warren, Griffin, GA; host of family friends including Donnie Harrison and Min. Conslee Ray. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 13th, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
