Homegoing services for Mr. Isaiah Murray Sr., of Tampa, who passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 will be held Saturday, July 25th 10:00 a.m. at St. John Cathedral, 3401 E. 25th Avenue, Pastor Dwight Newkirk, officiating. The interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, Florida. Isaiah was born to the late Albert and Elizabeth Murray on August 9, 1927 in Tribley, Florida. He was known to family and friends as "Mango". He enjoyed fishing and keeping up with politics and world news. Isaiah was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Coretha Murray; son, Isaiah Murray, Jr.; daughter, Sarah Nevada Sheppard and a host of other brothers and sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories with his children, Patricia Y. Murray, Barbara M. Russell and Joel W. Shack, Sr.; grandchildren, Kenneth Ballard, Kevin Ballard, James I. Murray, Jeremy Lucas, Isaiah Murray III, Joel W. Shack, Sr., Maurice Murray, Bryan Plumer (Nikki), Corey M. Murray, David Vickers, Naomi Murray, Nicole Wise, Jaquita and Jessica Austin; special great grandchild, Jazniya Hick; and a host of other great grandchildren; brother, Willis E Murray (Mildred) of Archer, Florida; and a host of nieces and nephews; special nephew, Evalio Harrell; god daughter and son, Coretta and Ernie Mayes. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 25th, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. The friends and family are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
