A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Jacqueline Conner Welch of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 will be held Saturday, March 18th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Elder Bruce Strange, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Jacqueline Conner Welch was born on March 18, 1963 in Tampa, Florida. She attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. She worked for Ms. Minnie Daycare Center and also worked for her father at the Broadway Bar as a barmaid. Jacqueline loved to cook, party, dance and go shopping and take care of her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Aubrey Conner; father, Willie James Conner, Sr.; brothers, Lenorris Conner- Clinton and Achlious Rene Conner. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her husband, Joseph Welch, Sr.; sons, Chauncey and Joseph Welch; daughter, Porschea Harden; step-children, Aaron, Jaylen and Arius Welch; grandchildren, Aubreyana Conner, Na'Chauncia Welch, Chauncey Juellz and Joaquin, Sharian Welch and Ke'Zaria Lawrence; loving mother, Ola Conner; father-in-law, Eugene Welch, Sr.; god-mother, Pamela Jackson; brothers, Willie and Arden Conner; sisters, Gwendolyn Fisher, Vickie Conner and Phyllis Denmark; brother-in-law, Eugene Welch, Jr.; nephews, Eric, Antwan, Alvin, Keith, Keon, Willie, Ernest, Derrick and Elijah; nieces, Tijuwana, Gloria, Shantheia, Tequilla, Pearlesha, Ericka, Elexys, Adrian, Tasheria, Shakelia, Candethia and Asiah; uncles, Jerry and Sam Haugabook and Johnnie Conner; aunts, Loretta Conner and Mary Joe McDonald; best friends, Sharon Davis and Willie Wells; special family friends, Welch, Denmark, Haugabook and Strange families and the staff of Whispering Oaks Nursing Home; a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 17th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
