Obituary

Jacquelyn Mobley, known as Jackie, was born January 28, 1963, to Claude Sr. and Rosa Lee Mobley in Jacksonville, but was raised in Tampa, Florida. On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the age of 63, Jackie was called home to be with her heavenly father and begin her eternal life in his presence. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, and woman of unwavering faith whose life was a testament to love and service to others. Her life touched countless hearts through her loving spirit and infectious outgoing personality.

Jackie attended various public schools throughout Hillsborough County. She demonstrated a desire to learn and grow and with a passion for the medical field; she pursued certifications in Nursing Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding and as a Medical Administrative Assistant.

Jackie spent several years working in the insurance industry as a claims adjuster. Alongside her professional career, she discovered a passion for entrepreneurship and worked as a sales representative with various multilevel marketing companies. In 2015, Jackie relocated to Georgia, where she transitioned into the government sector. At the time of her passing, she was serving as an IRS Contact Representative with the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Jackie's life was deeply rooted in her Christian faith. Coming from a family of gospel singers and preachers, she began singing in the church choir at Mt. Moriah P.B. Church at just seven years old. Throughout her spiritual journey, she was a member of Bible Based Baptist Church and Without Walls International Church in Tampa, Fl, and at the time of her passing, she was a member of Divine Faith International Church in Jonesboro, Georgia.

Jackie was an outgoing social butterfly, warmhearted, and full of life. She truly never met a stranger and had a special gift for making others feel welcomed and loved. She was someone people could always count on to show up, and lend a helping hand, even while navigating her own health challenges. Her life reminds us of the importance of showing up for one another, loving without reservation, and trusting God through every season.

Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Claude Mobley Sr.; her mother, Rosa Lee Mobley; her brother, Claude Mobley Jr.; and her beloved aunts and uncles, Eddie Mae Jackson, Arthur Green Sr., James Allen Green Jr., Lula Mae Jackson, Annie Pearl Farmer, Elnora Perkins, Idella Johnson, Hattie Hankerson, Emma Bell Hankerson, Rufus Mobley, Alfred Mobley, and Sherman Rhaines.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her beloved son Jermaine Mobley and daughters, Latia Mobley, Lakeisha (Shay) Mobley, and Tamika Brown; her cherished grandchildren, Kianna Mobley, Kailyn Todd, Antonio Bulmer Jr., Jolisha Vann, Chase Todd and Kirmeka Covington; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Jordan Vann, Ta'Nylah Creed, Darnell Law, and Destiny Law.

She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Lula Mobley; her brothers, Jimmie (Regina) Mobley and Ray Mobley; her god sisters and best friends, Cecilia (Ceci) Cox, Angie Chappell, Dorian Williams, Teresa Durant, Doris Hampton-Jacobs, Cheryl Bright, Joyce Reed, Cheryl Neal; and her nieces and nephews, Keaira Mobley, Jimmie G. Mobley, Emmesha Mobley, Demetrius Mobley, DeAndre Mobley, Jeremiah Mobley, Ke'avia Mobley, Emmiyah Bunkley, Jamaurice Burgess, Jai'Elle Burgess and Jaliyah Mobley. She also leaves a host of cousins, extended family members, church family, coworkers, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, she will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live in the hearts of all who knew her. We find comfort in the promise of God's word and the assurance that love never truly ends.

The family of Jackie Mobley sincerely thank you for your prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. Your kindness and expressions of sympathy have brought us comfort and strength as we celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved mother.

May God bless each of you for the love you have shown our family.
