Jamahl was born on August 3, 1990, in Tampa, Florida, and was a precious gift to his mother, Ellistine Nash who also became his best friend.

Jamahl attended River Hills Christian Elementary School and Portland Lutheran High School. James D. Faison, of Tampa, Florida, became a father figure to Jamahl as a young child and they remained close for many years. His relationship with the Lord began at an early age, he was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Portland, Oregon, and visited various other churches in Portland, Oregon. Jamahl was interested in many things, including music, cooking, and gaming. He played the guitar for the church in Portland on many occasions. He was an exceptionally good cook and completed courses at the Culinary School of Portland, Oregon. Jamahl was a people person; he loved everyone and would help anyone. Just the other day, there was a man purchasing food at Walmart in Portland, Oregon and he did not have enough money, and what did Jamahl do? Im glad you asked! He went into his pocket and paid for the gentlemens food. And of course, the man was very appreciative. What did Jamahl do, he did what Jesus said!!! Jamahl had become quite ill over the past few years, but he was on the mend when he suddenly passed away.

He leaves precious memories with his mother, Ellistine Nash; his four children, three girls, and one son; uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. We will be reunited, on that great day when Jesus calls all the saints home.
