Obituary

James Benemon was born on August 15, 1969, in Brooksville, FL to Benjamin Benemon and Annette Johnson.

James attended school in Hillsborough County. He graduated from Hillsborough High School. He joined the US Marines, and he served from 1988 to 1992. After serving in the military, he later attended college in Billings, Montana. After college, he was employed at Pepsi Cola beverage company for many years. After leaving Pepsi, he was employed at GAF Roofing, where he later retired. Throughout the years, he was an active member and deacon at True Vine True Love Church.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Benemon and Annette Johnson; uncles, Robert and Freddy Moore; aunt, Rosemary Moore.

James leaves precious memories with his wife, Charman Benemon; children, Jarquez Langston Benemon (Derriciaka), Jalissia Benemon, Jajuan Benemon (Timara), and JaMel Benemon (Corina); grandchildren, Jarquez Langston Benemon, Journey Langston Benemon, Jiya Benemon, and Janelle Benemon; brothers, Keith Benemon (Crystal) and Kevin Benemon (Leslie); brothers-in-law, John Praylow, Obadiah Mungin, Douber Altidor, and Kareem Altidor; sister, Samala Benemon; sister-in-law, Nicole Livingston, Delain Odelon, Karima Altidor, and Cecilia Altidor; uncle, Horace Benemon (Juanita); nieces, Brittany Livingston, Darshayla Graham, Shanequa Praylow, Alexis Wallace, and Odeira Mungin; nephews, Jermaine Livingston, Lee Andrew, Jamaal Wallace (Michaela), Cody Benemon, Caden Sheppard, Mario Sheppard, Jabari Benemon, and Charron Phoenix; cousins, Kevin Moore, Ariel Reese, Kim Ross Pottinger, Viandra Peaches Williams, and Lowman and Alvin Miller; special friends, Pastor Willie Lee Morris III and First Lady Chimere Morris, Pastor Will Flemming and First Lady Sonya Flemming, Keevin Williams, and the rest of Hillsborough High School class of 88; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.
