A visitation for Mr. James A. Davis, Sr. of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018, will be held Saturday, November 17th, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Greater Friendship M.B. Church, 3325 E. Emma Street. James was born December 3, 1948 in Vero Beach, Florida. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Thomas Davis; father, Alphonso Davis, Sr.; Georgia Mae Davis, Marthaniel Leeth and Nobie Lee Jackson. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his children, Monica Davis Bruton (Alphonso), Sonia Davis Johnson, James A. Davis, Jr. (Kassie), Kevin Davis, Benson Thomas (Armanda), Jamie Jones and Sparkle Smith (Maurice); grandchildren, Lashika Bruton, Alphonso A. Bruton, Takia Inabinet, Chynna Thomas, Jailyn Thomas, Essence Mingo, Charles Kindell, Bricyn Jones, Ticareia Davis, Prima Davis, Denard Davis, Quwandre Smith, Maurice Jaquan and Lezah Bacon; great-grandchildren, Thomas James Hair, Jr., Reign Williams, Zinnia Williams, Lala, Denard and K.J.; mother, Lee Bertha Fitts (Robert); brother, Alphonso 'Eugene' Davis, Jr., Lamar Davis, Kenneth Cleveland, Donald Mosley, Lorenzo Davis and Ira Mosley; sister, Nedra Champion; cousins, Dorothy Oliver and Fredrick Taylor; special friends, Katory Davis, Nancy Wilson, Robyne Norton, Jimmy Norton, Lee Rainey, Benny and Sheila McFarland; a host of other relatives and friends. The family will be present to greet friends at the church during the visitation.
